The 4th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering, Intelligent Manufacturing and Automation Technology (MEMAT 2023) was successfully held in Guilin, Guangxi Province, China from December 1st to 3rd, 2023. It was guided by the Guangxi Association for Science and Technology, co-hosted by Guilin University of Electronic Technology, the Guangxi Society of Mechanical Engineering, and the Guangxi Key Laboratory of Manufacturing Systems and Advanced Manufacturing Technology, organized by AEIC Academic Exchange Center, and supported by the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation of Anhui University.
This conference is co-chaired by Professor Pan Kailin from Guilin University of Electronic Technology and Professor Eckart Meiburg from the University of California. Professor Cao Qixin from Shanghai Jiao Tong University serves as the chair of the technical committee, and Professor Liu Xiaogang from Wuhan University of Technology is the chair of the publication committee. The conference aims to provide an academic exchange platform for experts, scholars, and engineering technicians to discuss the current technological breakthroughs and future development directions in mechanical engineering, intelligent manufacturing, and automation. The conference is hosted by Professor Tang Rongjiang, the dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Guilin University of Electronic Technology, and Professor Mo Qiuyun, the vice dean. We are honored to have Mr. Pan Kailin, the vice president of Guilin University of Electronic Technology, and Professor Gao Xingyu, the executive vice president of Guangxi Mechanical Engineering Society and the vice president of Guangxi Minzu University, to deliver opening remarks. In their remarks, they extended warm congratulations on the convening of the conference and expressed their warm welcome and most sincere greetings to all the experts and scholars attending the conference.
This conference specially invited eight experts, namely Professor Mo Jiliang from Southwest Jiaotong University, Professor Gao Xingyu from Guangxi University for Nationalities, Professor Wu Chaoqun from Wuhan University of Technology, Professor Gao Feng from Beihang University, Professor Chen Wenjie from Anhui University, Professor Chen Enwei from Hefei University of Technology, Professor Wang Yun from Jiangsu University, and Professor Liu Yajun from South China University of Technology, to deliver wonderful keynote speeches. They discussed research topics such as "High-speed Railway Braking System", "Robotics", and "Intelligence", and exchanged in-depth the latest research achievements and advanced experiences in the industry, sharing their unique insights on the industry's development trends and research directions. This conference attracted over a hundred participants including scholars from domestic and foreign universities and local experts.
At this point, the Fourth International Academic Conference on Mechanical Engineering, Intelligent Manufacturing and Automation Technology has successfully concluded! This conference further promoted academic research and industry exchanges in the fields of mechanical engineering, intelligent manufacturing, and automation, which was beneficial in stimulating the interest and research motivation of the participants in this field, and broadening their thinking. It also enhanced the communication and cooperation among domestic academic circles, promoting the formation of more beneficial partnerships. Moreover, through in-depth discussions and exchanges, the participants laid the foundation for future scientific research and applications.
